Frequently Asked Questions

🪂 The Experience

Is it my first time? What is a Tandem Jump?

Most of our guests are first-time jumpers! A tandem jump allows you to experience the thrill of skydiving while securely harnessed to one of our USPA-certified instructors. They handle the technicalities—the parachute deployment and the landing—so you can focus entirely on the view.

How high do we go?

We typically exit the aircraft at 10,000 to 12,000 feet. This gives you approximately 45 seconds of adrenaline-pumping freefall, followed by a 5–7 minute scenic canopy ride over the turquoise Bahamian waters.

Where do we land?

Weather permitting, we specialize in beach landings. There is nothing quite like touching down on the soft white sands of the Bahamas after a 120mph freefall.

🛡️ Safety & Equipment

Is skydiving safe?

Safety is our absolute priority. We operate under strict international safety standards. Our primary aircraft, N5953B, is a specialized Cessna 182A “jump plane” maintained to the highest aviation standards, featuring a high-performance engine and STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) capabilities for maximum operational safety.

What kind of parachutes do you use?

Every jump uses a “dual parachute” system. This includes a main canopy and a reserve canopy. Additionally, all our rigs are equipped with an Automatic Activation Device (AAD), which automatically deploys the reserve parachute if the instructor is unable to do so.

đź“‹ Requirements & Restrictions

Are there age or weight limits?

Age: You must be at least 18 years old (please bring a valid government-issued ID).

Weight: Our standard weight limit is 230 lbs (104 kg). This is a safety requirement based on the equipment’s manufacturer specifications. Please contact us if you are near this limit for a secondary assessment.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes (sneakers are perfect). Avoid boots with hooks or loose sandals/flip-flops. We will provide you with a jumpsuit and goggles.

đź“… Booking & Logistics

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. To ensure the best experience and coordinate with our flight manifests, we highly recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. A deposit is required to secure your slot.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Skydiving is a weather-dependent sport. If conditions (high winds or low clouds) make jumping unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule your jump for the next available clear window or provide a full refund of your deposit.

Can I bring my own GoPro?

For safety reasons regulated by the USPA, tandem students are not permitted to carry their own cameras during the jump. However, we offer professional Media Packages where your instructor will capture high-definition video and photos of your entire experience from the plane to the sand.

📍 Location

Where are you located?

We operate out of [Specific Airport/Location, e.g., Lynden Pindling International or a Private Strip]. Once you book, you will receive a confirmation email with a GPS pin and check-in instructions.
